Flagship has school tax promotion

Flagship Tax Center, 114 W. Main St. (across from the former Butler’s Bakery) is once again participating in a fundraising program for all Van Wert City, Crestview, and Lincolnview schools.

For each taxpayer having their 2012 income tax return prepared by Flagship and mentioning they came in to support their school, $10 will be donated to the school of the taxpayer’s choice. Plus each participating taxpayer will receive a $40 discount off of their tax return preparation fees just for joining in this worthwhile fundraising project. This applies to all taxpayers: those who pay for their tax return preparation upfront or for those who have their tax preparation fees deducted from their IRS refunds.

It’s a win-win situation for the teachers, the students and the taxpayers. Last year in its second year of operation, Flagship donated $120 to local schools.
