Whither the weather? This class knows!

This past week, one of the second grade classes has been working on a weather unit in science class. They have discussed the different types of weather, the different types of clouds, and how to measure the weather. The class also covered the water cycle and the different steps and how it is a never ending cycle.  The students also did some evaporation activates as well.

Congratulations to the boys’ cross-country team for winning the Northwest Conference cross country title in a close battle with Columbus Grove, who finished in the runner-up position.  The event was run at Crestview’s cross-country course located at the Van Wert County reservoir near the grounds of the Van Wert County Hospital. Third-place finisher Bayley Tow (Lincolnview – 16:44) was voted by the coaches as NWC Male Runner of the Year and Lincolnview’s Matt Langdon was voted Boys Coach of the Year.
            The LLEA currently still provides three $1,000 Scholarships that are renewable for a second year as long as the student has maintained his/her grades.
