Fourth graders study Ohio

Over the course of the first nine weeks, our fourth grade classes have been studying Ohio and the elements that make it unique from other states. We focused heavily on Geography, learning our “global address,” using several types of maps. The fourth graders have also studied the importance of natural resources within Ohio, learning that agriculture helps to sustain our economy. Finally, our Social Studies classes have looked into the cultural practices of Ohioans in specific regions of the state. Students were assigned a project to create a visual aid that describes one festival conducted in this great state. Look at these students’ creative ideas!
Congratulations to the Lincolnview JV Scholastic Bowl team for winning the NWC JV Scholastic Bowl Champion title. The Varsity and JV teams traveled to Spencerville High School on Saturday Nov. 2 to compete against eight other schools in the tournament.
