Van Wert Police

March 16, 3:47 p.m. — Alvin S. Hammons, 46, of 637 N. Franklin St., and Andrew C. Hammons, 23, of Decatur, Ind., were both arrested on South Shannon Street in connection with outstanding warrants issued by the Van Wert County Adult Probation Department.

March 15, 9:20 a.m. — A 15-foot aluminum ladder and some copper wire were reported stolen from the Van Wert County Fairgrounds.
