Van Wert Police

April 3, 1:35 a.m. — Jasmine A. Diemer, 27, of 550 S. Chestnut St., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI), driving a motor vehicle while under a license suspension and child endangerment as a result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Washington Street.

April 3, 3:47 p.m. — An employee at Pak-A-Sak, 800 N. Washington St., reported the theft of property from the store.

April 3, 2:29 a.m. — Greg S. Brown, 23, of Ohio City, was arrested for OVI as a result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Washington Street.

March 28, 11:15 a.m. — A Van Wert woman reported a case of identity theft.
