Mull earns advanced claims designation

Scott Mull, of the Central Insurance Companies, has earned the Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) designation from the American Educational Institute.

He was required to complete a legal principles program, consisting of seven courses, a liability program, consisting of seven courses, a fraud program consisting of seven courses, and a property program, consisting of seven courses.

AEI is the premier provider of claims law and coverage courses in legal principles, liability, automobile, property, workers’ compensation, and fraud.  The Institute, established in 1969, provides this training through college level, work-related, and independent study courses that deal with the everyday side of claims.

Mull received his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He started his career with Central in February 2007 as a multi-line claims representative, then became a senior claims representative multi-line. In 2010, Mull went on to become a property specialist.  He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Associate in Claims (AIC) designations.

Mull resides in Van Wert with his wife, Kimberly, and their two daughters, Gracie, 6, and Lilie, 4.
