VW independent/submitted information The Van Wert Police Department is looking into an incident involving a piece of Halloween candy that contained a metal object. The “gummy-type” candy was wrapped in clear sealed wrapper with purple ends (see photos below).   The department is asking that anyone with information contact them at 419.238.2462.
