On 7-13-2026 – officers were dispatched to a business in the 1700 block of E. 5th St. to investigate the theft of two pickup trucks taken during the early morning hours. The incident remains under investigation.

On 7-13-2026 – officers were sent to the 200 block of S. Pierce St. after receiving a report of two toddlers wandering around the area unattended.

On 7-13-2026 – officers were dispatched to the 24000 block of Lincoln Hwy, for a domestic disturbance.

On 7-13-2026 – officers received a complaint of an unruly juvenile in the 400 block of E. 3rd St. Officers spoke with the juvenile and her parents.

On 7-13-2026 – officers were sent to the area of W. 4th and Maple streets for a domestic disturbance involving a male and a female from a previous call on Lincoln Highway. Officers found probable cause to arrest both for domestic violence. The male, Mark Banbury, 46, of Delphos was transported to the Van Wert County Jail. The female, Savanna Crisp, 23, of Delphos, was issued a summons to appear in court in lieu of going to jail due to being the custodial parent of the couple’s infant child.

On 7-14-2026 – officers spoke with a male who reported that his juvenile son was scammed online. The male reported that the juvenile had sent inappropriate images to someone who later demanded money in exchange for not posting the photos.

On 7-14-2026 – officers met with a female at the police department who wished to discuss an ongoing civil dispute with a neighbor.

On 7-15-2026 – officers were sent to the 1400 block of S. Clay St. for a menacing complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with a male who reported that another male was on his property inciting him to come out and fight. The male had left the area before officers arrived.

On 7-15-2026 – officers responded to the Delphos Pool for an altercation. After investigating the incident, officers removed several people from the property.

On 7-16-2026 – officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of King St. for a possible burglary in progress. Officers arrived and located a male who stated that he had permission to be at the residence and was helping the tenant, who is currently incarcerated, remove personal property. Officers spoke with the tenant and confirmed the male’s explanation.

On 7-16-2026 – officers spoke with a female in the 900 block of Lima Ave. who reported that a male has been stalking her for two years. Officers explained the procedure to the female for obtaining a protection order.

On 7-17-2026 – officers were sent to the 400 block of N. Canal St. for a domestic dispute involving a female and her adult daughter.

On 7-17-2026 – officers proceeded to the 900 block of E. 5th St. after receiving a complaint of loud music at a business in the area.

On 7-18-2026 – officers spoke with a female in the 200 block of W. Clime St. who stated that she had an unwanted guest in her residence. The female allowed the male to stay for two weeks but no longer wanted him in the residence.

On 7-18-2026 – officers spoke with a male who requested a well-being check on his brother. He stated that his brother has health issues and he was unable to get a hold of him.

On 7-18-2026 – officers received a complaint of a male making alarming statements. Officers investigated the incident and determined that it was necessary to take action. Officers, assisted by the Allen County SWAT team, served a search warrant on the residence in the 200 block of N. Main St. Joseph Meeker, 39, was taken into custody and charged with having weapons under disability.

On 7-19-2026 – officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of E. 3rd St. for an altercation. A female at the residence reported that her sister was treating her child in an abusive manner. No harm was found to be done to the child, but a report was written to be forwarded to Children Services.

On 7-19-2026 – officers responded to the 900 block of Southridge Drive for a residential burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and found that the parents of the homeowners were checking on the residence while they were away.
