4:38 a.m. – Deputies responded to an area in the City of Van Wert to assist Van Wert Police with traffic control for a motor vehicle crash.

6:57 a.m. – Dispatched Ohio City EMS to a location in Liberty Township for a subject with a possible heart attack.

7:55 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to investigate a motor vehicle crash. Unit one, a 2009 Honda Accord, was exiting the off ramp to U.S. 30 westbound and was approaching the stop sign at the top of the ramp. Unit one rolled into the intersection at Lincoln Highway and Unit two, a 2019 Chevy Equinox, was eastbound on Lincoln Highway and tried to avoid the collision and struck unit one on the left side of the car. No injuries reported.

12:23 p.m. – Deputies responded to a complaint of a stray dog on private property in Tully Township.

4:00 p.m. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert Common Pleas Court for probation violation to Seth Andrew Jump, 21, of Van Wert. He is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.

10:16 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Jackson Township to check on a subject walking along the roadway.

11:10 p.m. – Dispatched Delphos EMS to a location in the City of Delphos for an active medical alert alarm.

Tuesday, May 10, 8:04 a.m. – arrested Adam Partin of Van Wert for domestic violence after an incident in the 1100 block of Olympic Drive.

Tuesday, May 10, 2:22 p.m. – investigated a possible domestic violence incident in the 500 block of S. Market St.

Tuesday, May 10, 3:17 p.m. – arrested Jason Lloyd, 40, of Van Wert, on a warrant out of Van Wert Municipal Court.

Wednesday, May 11, 4:22 a.m. – charged Brandi Bidlack of Van Wert with assault after an incident in the 400 block of E. Main St.

Wednesday, May 11, 8:43 p.m. – arrested Desma Deanna Chesbro of Van Wert on an order to arrest out of Van Wert County Common Pleas Court Adult Probation.

Wednesday, May 11, 11:42 p.m. – charged Jessica Calder, 50, of Van Wert, with disorderly conduct after an incident in the 300 block of N. Cherry St.

Thursday, May 12, 12:11 p.m. – arrested Kaiden Andrew Gilbert, 19, of Van Wert, for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle in the 500 block of Center St.

Thursday, May 12, 4:03 p.m. – investigated a criminal mischief incident at Van Wert High School.

Thursday, May 12, 5:12 p.m. – investigated a possible weapons violation in the 200 block of W. Main St.

Friday, May 13, 6:01 p.m. – arrested Jonathon Mattix of Van Wert on an outstanding warrant out of Van Wert Municipal Court.

Friday, May 13, 11:07 p.m. – received a report of a possible assault in the 300 block of N. Race St.

Saturday, May 14, 12:34 p.m. – arrested Samuel Cassidy of Van Wert for domestic violence and criminal damaging after an incident in the 600 block of State St. He was later arrested at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility on an outstanding warrant from Van Wert Municipal Court.

1:05 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to investigate a motor vehicle crash on U.S. Route 30 involving a deer. No injuries were reported.

5:26 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Union Township to investigate a complaint of a vehicle driving through a woods.

8:39 a.m. – Dog Warden responded to a location in the Village of Ohio City for the report of a loose dog.

9:22 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Harrison Township on Bergner Road south of U.S. Route 224. The crash was investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Wren EMS, Willshire Fire, Ohio City
Fire, Van Wert EMS were dispatched to the scene. Lutheran Air landed at the scene as well.

11:54 a.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a location in Ridge Township for a subject who fell.

12:28 p.m. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a location in the Village of Convoy for a subject who was unable to move.

1:10 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Harrison Township to check for a reported broken utility pole.

4:56 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Pleasant Township to investigate a motor vehicle crash. Crash took place on Marsh Road just south of the intersection of U.S. Route 224. The incident remains
under investigation.

6:58 p.m. – Convoy Police responded to a location in the Village of Convoy to act as a peace officer while subjects removed property from a residence.

7:02 p.m. – Deputies responded to a commercial alarm in the Village of Convoy.

9:08 p.m. – Deputies responded to an area in Washington Township to assist a motorist with a disabled vehicle.

11:57 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in York Township to investigate a motor vehicle crash involving a deer. No injuries were reported.

1:05 a.m. – Deputies took a complaint of harassment/menacing activity in Pleasant Township. The incident remains under investigation.

8:57 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in York Township to taken a complaint of harassment.

1:20 p.m. – Deputies arrested James Vibbert, 25, in the City of Van Wert on a warrant issued by Van Wert Common Pleas Court for probation violation. He was transported to the Van Wert County Correctional Facility. 

3:08 p.m. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence in the City of Van Wert for a subject having difficulty breathing. 

3:10 p.m. – Dispatched Middle Point Fire to a location in Ridge Township for the report of a ditch fire. 

3:33 p.m. – Dispatched Willshire Fire, Wren Fire, and Ohio City Fire to a location in Willshire Township for the report of a corn stubble field fire. 

4:48 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the City of Van Wert to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle. 

5:16 p.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a residence in Ridge Township for a subject who had passed out. 

5:33 p.m. – Deputies responded along with Wren Fire & EMS, Willshire Fire, Ohio City EMS, Van Wert EMS to a multiple vehicle crash on Wren Landeck Road at Glenmore Road in Willshire Township. The report received advised of two subjects injured and a subject trapped in a vehicle. Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash. 

5:49 p.m. – Deputies responded to the report of a domestic violence at a residence in Jennings Township.  

5:52 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the Village of Convoy to investigate a complaint of harassment. 

7:13 p.m. – Dispatched Wren EMS and Van Wert EMS to a residence in Willshire Township who was feeling light headed and dizzy.

7:33 p.m. – Deputies responded to investigate a reported assault at a location in Ridge Township. The incident remains under investigation. 

7:51 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Liberty Township in reference to a complaint of a traffic violation.  

8:16 p.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a residence in Ridge Township for an ill person.

11:40 a.m. – Dog Warden responded to a location in the Village of Middle Point to investigate a complaint of failure to confine. 

12:52 p.m. – Deputies made a traffic stop in the Village of Ohio City and it was found the driver of the vehicle had an active warrant issued out of Auglaize County Court. Johnathon Michael Miller of Van Wert was taken into custody and transferred to Auglaize County authorities. 

2:34 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the City of Van Wert to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle. 

3:23 p.m. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a location in Union Township for a subject who had fallen. 

4:47 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Liberty Township to conduct a welfare check on subject at the request of Mercer County. 

6:54 p.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a location in Ridge Township for a subject with chest pain.  

7:10 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Jackson Township in reference to a loose dog. 

8:03 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the Village of Convoy in reference to a report of three loose dogs. 

8:52 p.m. – Deputies responded to Edgewood Park in the Village of Convoy in reference to a report of a loose dog.

12:15 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the City of Van Wert to assist Van Wert Police. 

1:50 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the Village of Ohio City to make contact with a subject in reference to a family emergency. 

5:54 a.m. – Deputies along with Scott Fire & EMS responded to a location in Hoaglin Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash with minor injury. Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash. 

6:42 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Liberty Township for a report of a deer in the roadway.  

10:45 a.m. – Deputies while on a routine traffic stop discovered that a subject in the vehicle had an active warrant for his arrest. Christopher C. Mcclellan, 43, of Convoy, was arrested on a warrant issued by Van Wert Municipal Court for failure to comply/ non-support. He was transported to the Van Wert County Correctional Facility pending a court hearing. 

8:05 p.m. – Deputies responded to the City of Van Wert and served a warrant issued by Van Wert Municipal Court, for failure to comply to Joshua Carroll of Van Wert. He is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility pending court. 

8:06 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Willshire Township to speak with a subject in reference to a harassment complaint. 

8:58 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Harrison Township to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle.

9:46 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the Village of Middle Point to investigate the report of domestic violence.
